"First" and "second" are immaterial. You want to split it as finely as as possible. For example, segregating \spool, \spool\web, \spool\spam, example.com\web, example.com\users, \IMail, \logs, pagefile.sys, etc. would be ideal. Yet you only have two drives, and you seem to already know that splitting the spool and the boxes is a good idea--so what's the question?
