Troy, This is just my opinion but I would setup a vpn between the sites. Once logged in have it dchp you an internal address and use something like VNC. You stated you didn't want to make firewall changes, do the other sites have a default allow rule for port 80 to go to the machines you need to admin? If not changes will have to be made anyway. If they already have port 80 open ( port forwarding I would presume ) then you have a security issue. If someone gets in not only can the hack the box but now they have acess to the entire network. I think you may want to look at a more secure option unless you want to get owned by some 13 year old in india running scripts.
