Imail will listen on all IP addresses. How about changing listener port numbers?

Subject: [IMail Forum] Can Imail and Exchange co-exist on same server

Hi All,

Forgive me if this has been addressed before but I just subscribed to this list today.

I am running an Exchange Server and just installed Imail on the same machine.  The problem I am having (and I knew it would be a problem before the install) is that two SMTP servers on the same machine don’t play well together (ok, they don’t play at all).  My question is this:  Is there a way to bind the Imail SMTP server to a specific IP address?  I can bind the MS SMTP server to a specific IP address and if I can do the same with Imail then all should be well.  If not, has anyone out there successfully run Exchange and Imail on the same machine?  If so, how?

BTW, I considered Gateway relay but I don’t believe it is an option since both SMTP servers are on the same machine.

Any thoughts/brainstorms are appreciated.
