Wow. Doing this should really not even be considered. Exchange is a resource hog. Running any other sort of services on an exchange box is just asking for problems.

Configure Exchange to use Smart Host [127.0.0.1] and outgoing port 26. Configure IMail-hosted domains as remote domains on [127.0.0.1]. All mail comes in to Exchange and out through IMail. 2. Set up IMail on 25 and Exchange on 26. Configure IMail to use Smart Host 127.0.0.1 on port 26. Etc. Bear in mind with both servers under load, any such setup is not recommended. Could you shed a little more light on *why* this needs to happen, and the expected proportion of local traffic for each server? Overall incoming/outgoing traffic expectations?
