How were you able to obtain a list of the additional domains? It would be very handy to determine the names that are pointing to us!! Please, do tell your "secret"! ;)

We have access to the .com/.net zone files. :)


I'll E-mail you the list of .com domains that were pointing at your DNS servers as of October (we haven't downloaded the zone files recently -- they are gigabytes in size).

We are using MSDNS on Windows 2003 server -- where the "secure cache against pollution" checkbox is checked by default (i have verified it is checked, as well). It would appear that unless there's a problem with this version of msdns, that we're secured against problems associated with being an open recursive DNS server at this time.

It sounds like you don't have anything to worry about (except possibly people using your caching/recursive DNS server without your permission, but that isn't likely to cause problems).
