i'm sorry i wasn't clear. sending 75 messages every 5 minutes in total. the total list is 50,000+. only 75 every 5 minutes are going out.
As I guessed. 900 hour, averaging 1 every 4 seconds. Not much traffic at all.
Are those 50k unique messages, or one msg to 50K addresses.
If one msg, is your app sending to multiple recipients per on SMTP session, or one recipient/session?
Have you run all the usual disk optimization/maintenance requirements so the disk i/o for the mailqueue is optimized?
