I'm sorry Len. I'm not really that familiar with Imail administration (or mail administration in general). I am sort of doing the job because there is no one else to do it. Therefore I don't know what you are referring to when you say "usual" optimization techniques. Could you point me in the direction of something explaining those?
100's of repetitions in the list archives.
Would doing these optimizations lower the load on my processor?
if the disk is a mess, then processes will get backed up in memory waiting for the disk. Task Manager will tell what's going on.
