Hmm, am I wrong here or should Ipswitch not put a maximum time for retries? We have several cities that we run email for. They are using ETRN and I have Imail 7.05 with the maximum time set for 3 days as the city mail servers do not run on the weekends. So if the time was limited to 120 all of the email deliverd for them on the weekend would be lost.
