10054 errors, in the web logs, are caused by users starting to download
a page and then
whilst in the middle of downloading the page they click on another
link. The browser then aborts the download of the original page and
writes a 10054 error for each object it has aborted the download for.

This behaviour can be invoked at will by selecting a (preferably rather
large email) and before it is fully loaded click on one of the folder
or other links repeatedly.

Nothing to worry about - but it does look frightning when you see a big
clump of them together in your weblogs.

Regards,

Pat Hastings

Andrew,

Could you apply any of the patches .. Bring it up to 7.15? I think
there
was an issue with the sockets.. But not sure. Here's a link if you
don't
already have it:
http://www.ipswitch.com/support/imail/releases/prev_patches.html (may
wrap
of course).

Also.. Could you post any log <snips> that show the errors with the
10054?
How's about hardware? Have you been down the replace the nic road with
a
3Com or such?
