Hello all! I have a ton of orphaned D*.SMD files in the spool on a W2k Server, Imail version 7.15. I read that:
"One situation where IMail will not delete a data file (D*.smd) is when the message is not deliverable and is also not returnable and there is no postmaster alias (or there is a problem with the postmaster/root alias/accounts)." Is there another way to correct this? The domain is reachable, not an open relay and a root account exists. All of the emails involve a single domain that cannot be ignored or shutdown. It is eating some serious disk space and if left unchecked spawns 15,000+ files! I am subscribed to the digest version so a direct response in addition to the list would be appreciated.
