Greetings Braintrust,

I am but a lowly newbie who has been operating a very small (<50 users) iMail system for about 3 years - with good success to date. Recently, however, the users of the system have seen a marked increase in spam and viruses. I am using iMail 8 at this point, and had in the past tried to implement the spam filtering options, but had found significant levels of false positives, and was forced to shut it off.

My question: Is there a simple way for me to implement effective spam filtering on my system ? I bought iMail because I need a reliable system which doesn't require a lot of tweaking - and now I need the same thing from the spam filtering system. I don't understand how to configure it so that I maximize it's effectiveness.

Also - I know about Declude for antivirus, but it seems pretty pricey. Is there anything out there that is simple, and a bit more affordable ?

Thanks very much.

Chuck Kelly
