I'm an ISP with 7000 users running Declude and F-Prot and we typically catch 9000 to 12000 viruses a day. When an outbreak occurs we have caught as many as 25000 in one day. We went from approximately 500,000 delivered inbound emails (including spam) to an average of 50,000 delivered inbound emails running Declude. The Declude product has worked magnificently. Our users have thanked us repeatedly since installing it. Personally, I went from an average of 200+ emails a day to approximately 20 ( I can't change my address for vendor purposes). The spam has been virtually eliminated while still allowing legitimate email to pass. One more note. The folks at Declude do a marvelous job of supporting their product.

Implemented February 1, we've blocked 10,735 infected messages destined for our client's mailboxes. We're still fine-tuning the spam blocker, but for the majority of our sites the default spam filter settings are working great. > -----Original Message----- > From: isp-lists [at] beachcomp.com [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, March 09, 2004 3:27 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Simple Spam and Virus protection ? > > > Chuck, > > You're going to have 98% of the list say Declude. > The other 2, including me will say Mxguard.com. > For the price, you cant go wrong. > Been running for a month, and it's caught about 98% of the viruses. > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Chuck Kelly > Sent: Tuesday, March 09, 2004 3:19 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [IMail Forum] Simple Spam and Virus protection ? > > Greetings Braintrust, > > I am but a lowly newbie who has been operating a very small > (<50 users) > iMail system for about 3 years - with good success to date.
