I would have to disagree with you there.

Until I stopped the anti spam functionality running on Imail my SMTP
service was falling over 15 - 20 times a day. I have posted a number of
posts on here and with Ipswich support but all to no avail.

I can only suggest to the original poster that they set their SMTP
service to automatically restart my it falls over. You can either do
this via the monitor service in the admin console or on the OS Service
itself.

Most people don't have this issue with iMail.  I suggest you check your 
server hardware and operating system software, as well as looking to see

what other services are running in the machine.  Also, it's relatively
easy 
to move iMail, (http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-19980116-JB11.htm -
How 
to move iMail to a new computer).  Perhaps you can try that as well to
make 
sure iMail is properly configured.
