The only time I have seen this complaint is when they are using POP also and
don't realize that will pull all their messages off.

Ask the user if they have "move deleted messages to a folder" checked and/or
confirm deletions.  Just in case they are clicking something to delete their
messages.

     We have a user who insists that after he reads his email using the web
interface, all messages are deleted without him doing anything.

     We've created a new account for him and the same thing happens.

     He claims that this happens under both IE and Netscape.

     Anybody heard of such a thing?
