I had the same case 2 weeks ago. Checking the Imail Logs we saw that
somebody was downloading them as well via POP 3 (the pop3 log line hast some
info about how many messages are downloaded, deleted and the size of them).
The Ip address downloading the emails belong to his office.

At the end we found out that his secretary (under his permission) was
reading his emails and downloading them. Curiously there were a couple of
times when he and his secretary read them at almost the same time (via
webmail and his secretary via POP). So everything was a confusing thing for
him. First he blamed us and then he realized what was going on.

So, check the logs and try to recreate the problem.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Web interface: All messages for a user are deleted
after reading

We have a user who insists that after he reads his email using the web
interface, all messages are deleted without him doing anything.

We've created a new account for him and the same thing happens.

He claims that this happens under both IE and Netscape.

Anybody heard of such a thing?

In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very
angry, and has been widely regarded as a bad idea.
