If you have a forwarding address or alias setup in Imail that forwards
to an AOL account, any spam that is sent through and caught by AOL is
reporting as originating from the Imail server, according to the AOL
Feedback Loop utility.

The IP that sends the spam is guilty of sending spam, period, as an accomplice.

If an network operator's MTA relays spam to my MX that originated from one of the network operator's subscriber IP's and PCs, my MX is being spammed by the network operator's MTA.
