Make sure you do not have the "Disable SMTP Auth Reporting" checkbox check. If you do this stops IMail from reporting the capability of Auth and most clients won't to auth if they done see this capability..you can see the results by telnetting into the SMTP service and issuing an EHLO command. There will be 2 AUTH line if it is not disabled
