Very, very few IMail admins have troubles handling 100,000 E-mails/day.
But those who do have troubles, and many who handle less, are very frustrated in their unsuccessful attempts, with the best assistance they can find, including Ipswitch, to make the $hardware and Imail/etc perform comfortably and reliably.
Most IMail admins would have a hard time getting 1M/day. That was my point. :)
nearly all of them would die well before that point
I would guess that 90+% of IMail users receive less than 100,000 E-mails/day, so the point is moot for them.
No, it's not. We see people in here every week, and I se many others who come to IMGate, because they cannot get Imail to perform they way it should given the hardware they've thrown at it. And those who are comfortable today run the risk of becoming less uncomfortable as the %age of abuse keeps rising steadily and Imail itself, and on-server add-ons, consume more resources.
