Ok ok. I'll change Imail.
I'm looking in the advanced smtp and I can't see anything specifically
related to <> senders.
Any idea where it is?

That is because you told IMail to reject them.

Now, it is in the Advanced SMTP settings, or possibly demoted to a registry 
hack.

Well, if you want no trouble, just disconnect the ethernet cable.  :)

The RFCs require that you accept bounce messages and other automated 
messages using "<>" as the return address; only a very, very small 
percentage of illegitimate mail uses that, and if you block them, you get 
listed in a spam database (http://www.rfc-ignorant.org)!  It causes other 
admins to do your work for you, which they really don't like.
