Yes lord, here we go again. As I open myself up for public ridicule because a) some people disagree with what my policy settings are and b) I was wrong, it wasn't the null sender causing the problem. Eric, Thanks for your help with the registry key I needed to change. Unfortunately, It was already set this way. So..... Here are the exact entries from my mail log: 07:23 08:32 SMTPD(054124b1013893db) [67.84.252.248] HELO dell8100 07:23 08:32 SMTPD(054124b1013893db) [67.84.252.248] MAIL FROM: <> 07:23 08:32 SMTPD(054124b1013893db) [67.84.252.248] RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 07:23 08:32 SMTPD(054124b1013893db) [67.84.252.248] ERR hardwarespecialty.com invalid user <[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Anybody have any other ideas? (besides the critique of me not knowing my own configuration) Regards, Roland -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Eric Shanbrom [Ipswitch] Sent: Friday, July 23, 2004 10:17 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] read receipt replys Registry HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\SMTPD32\Parameters set the RefuseNullFrom to "0" Eric S ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roland Sickenberger" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, July 23, 2004 9:28 AM Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] read receipt replys > Ok ok.
