If you open up a Command Prompt window (Start, Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt) then change to the directory containing BounceFinder.exe (if downloaded to C:\Temp for example: cd \temp) when you run BounceFinder it will also display these very helpful directions:
BounceFinder finds information on bounce messages from an IMail SMTP log. All you need to do is type "BounceFinder <filename>" and it will display the information on the bounces. Example: "BounceFinder sys0101.txt". To require a word, add "+word", such as "BounceFinder sys0101.txt +word". To ban a word, add "-word", such as "BounceFinder <filename> -word". To save output, add "> file", such as "BounceFinder sys0101.txt > list.txt". Example: BounceFinder sys0101.txt [EMAIL PROTECTED] -reject [EMAIL PROTECTED] > list.txt Gerry Ah, yes- good old DOS programs. We don't need no steenkin' rodent to run a program! ;-) ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: "Krishna" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Wed, 11 Aug 2004 10:11:34 +0800 >Hi Scott, > >Able to find how to run it but when i get the follwing which is not helpful > >IMail BounceFinder 1.00a - (C) Copyright 2003 Computerized Horizons. >Please consider using our anti-spam and anti-virus software for IMail >servers. >http://www.declude.com > >Finding bounces in sys0811.txt. > >Thanks and Regards >Krishna > > >----- Original Message ----- >From: "Krishna" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Sent: Wednesday, August 11, 2004 9:58 AM >Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] unknown user > > >> Hi Scott, >> >> Thanks for the reply, as suggested by you have downloaded the >> bouncefinder.exe file when i run it something pops in dos format for >second >> dissapears b4 i can read it dissapears can you help me how to use this >> bounce finder.. >> >> Thanks and Regards >> Krishna >> >> >> ----- Original Message ----- >> From: "R.
