Also, one of the things that we did during the 8.05 period where the service would stop was use a utility we wrote (QueueMon) to monitor the queue and when it reached a certain level we restarted the smtp service.

Running 8.05 with HF2 or 3... On the 10th last week, the SMTP service
started stopping repeatedly. Sometimes as many as 5 times per hour.

System had been running fine for 9 months prior to this. While the SMTP
service might stop once a month, never 5 times in an hour. Of course
some hours it doesn't stop at all.... ARGH!

2.8ghz machine, 512k ram, running Imail's AntiSpam features.... help!
