Which version of F-Prot does one use with your product, David? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of David Gregg Sent: Tuesday, September 28, 2004 3:48 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] JPEG virus now in the wild

It's better safer than sorry and it beats having to purchase a service agreement to get the latest fix when a virus is delivered in a formerly 'excluded' filetype :) > You might want to urge your customers to upgrade their AV scanner .exe This goes without mention. Detecting viruses is the job of the virus scanner - they seem to do an excellent job at it. btw - your site displays some AV test results for mxGuard that are not accurate. You should remove or correct them immediately. While you do have a disclaimer that these are not 'your' results, but those gleaned from a mailing list, they are innacurate and irresponsible to post. One should verify - especially when the data is used for marketing purposes.
