I balked at the pricing for other spam/virus plugins and even ignored
MXGuard primarily because I didn't want the responsibility of having to scan
emails for clients. That responsibility belongs with the end user IMHO. I'm
sure Antivirus companies will agree from the profit side of the equation
because if every mail service did this then there would be little need for
end-users to buy it.

I will tell that I just bought MXGuard and had it and the virus scanner
running in about 10 minutes that included 2 questions to David.

To all -- MXGuard is priced right and works extremely well. How can you go
wrong for $100???

Bill

Once the AV is launched, throwing some additional JPGs, TXT, etc... at the
scanner does not worry me. Build what you want, use it hwo you wish.

For an additional, hefty fee :)

Still goes without saying. It's not my place to tell admins to apply
windows service pack, hotfixes, av updates, etc... An admin a big boy/girl,
certainly capable of making decisions. We do make some recommendation but
do not approach any of them from a 'this is gospel' position.

Yes - one would assume that is how responsible administrators think.

Oh, ok. Just reporting what was reported. Right. No need to verify.
Sounds like the CBS document issue. If inaccurate/misleading info is
acceptable to your company - so be it.

Though still incorrect, I should feel better about it?

C'mon Scott. Don't try to hide behind that statement. You are the first
