If this change as you state 'big change, but it is one that has been long in coming', why was when you sent an email on April 28th that did not mention any of this 'big change' "Now for the bad news, many of you are aware that we planned on shipping our new collaboration add on tool, yesterday, April 27th."
To me and probably a lot of other people this meant an optional add on that you did not have to buy. Now all of the sudden about 6 months later we get this without warning. I know for one I would not have suggested my manager to resubscribe last week to the service agreement knowing now that there is basically no future for the product we currently have installed. I will now be suggesting that he should try to get our money back since there will be little to no upgrades What a nice way to start off a week...
