I only can see a big problem here, little from IPSwitch's perspective: I consider my company a small company (400 email users) compared to most of yours where there may be several thousands of users.
I never saw an email, a questionaire that looked like a market research from IPSwitch, not in my inbox, not even on this forum; Did you guys received one?. I would hope that before making such a big decision in changing the whole profile of software package, at least a they would ask you: what are your needs. Maybe they sent it to their MS Exchange user database asking them, do you want a very simplified licensing program with big discounts over your current MS licensing? I can only see Collaboration be a solution for Exchange users who doesn't need the power and want a cheaper product, (I always wondered why they didn't have a *nix version for their products) never a solution for loyal IMail users who all we want is better support and improve our options according to OUR! needs. This year, we made a big expense when we decided to move to IMAIL, brand new Dell server, a fresh copy of Imail professional, and training. The honeymoon lasted just a few months. We considered postfix for MTA and other daemons to integrate a well rounded bussiness grade server but we dropped it for Imail. Hum, guess what, I'll go back to my boss and to my notes so by the end of our maintenance agreement we would have the decision to move everybody over.
