Not true. If you have a service agreement for IMail, you will receive all
the updates to IMail for as long as the agreement is in force.

Not true. If you bought IMail, you can use it according to the license,
which is perpetual.
Which is why right now, I'm not panicked, just concerned. However, a proposal for a network upgrade I have in the field just got updated to use a different e-mail product. ICS is too expensive for this customer.
3. Now that ICS is here, IMail will immediately cease to exist and never be
updated or supported
Not true. IMail and IMail service agreements are no longer being sold, but
support for IMail and updates to IMail will continue at least through
October 2005, when the last IMail service agreement expires.
Part of *my* concern is that there will be no further development of iMail between now and Oct 2005, except for "crisis management", such as the very real possibility that a future windows service pack breaks some iMail service. Even then, there's no guarantee that Ipswitch will be motivated to patch it as quickly as possible.
4. Even though I already have IMail and Symantec AV, I have pay a big fee to get the ISP edition Not true. If you have IMail and Symantec AV, you can go to the ISP Edition of ICS as a renewal, which is not much different from the old price for an IMail SA renewal and AV renewal.
I suspect that not all ISP's use the anti-virus. Since ICS *forces* them to license the AV, there is a significant jump in price.
