I hate to push another product on this group, but I use scriptlogic for
login scripting and user desktop control along with AD policies. I've seen
the issue you are having when you have offline folders enabled and using AD
policies to change the MY DOC folder location. Using scriptlogic's folder
redirection solved this problem for me.

Sorry for not having a better way.

PS: I switch a couple of months back to their Desktop Authority product, I
would have to say WOW made my day easier and I only have 70 users (but in
three buildings up to 1 mile away)

Subject: [IMail Forum] WAAAYYY OT - folder redirectionin windows XP

This is COMPLETELY unrelated to iMail, but you guys are the smartest
bunch I know of, so I decided to give it a try. Does anyone here have
any experience with folder redirection in winxp? We have ~200 users
set up with their My Documents folder redirected to a folder on one of
our servers. The problem we are seeing with a few users, is that if
the workstation loses connectivity with the server, the My Docs
location reverts back to the default, which is of course c:\documents
and settings\username\my documents. Anyone have any advice on how to
avoid this?
