A couple things to check: 1) Check the time interval for automatic 'send & receive' If it's set too low you can have this problem. I've set ours to 10 minutes and it has worked well. 2) I've seen this also with mailboxes that are "large", like well over 15M. You may need to have the user clean up their mailbox.
