I think most people that are trying to accomplish this move the log files
nightly to another drive/partition, and archive daily, weekly, and/or
monthly.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Q: How to change the path/location of log files?

Hello,
I am trying to separate the location of the log files and the spooled
message files but I can not find any meaningful entry in the registry for
this. I found an entry for changing the location of the spool directory and
I did change it, but the log files are being generated at the new location
as well.

In the GUI interface of Syslog I found a window where you could change the
path of the log file but it is grayed out, not editable. (and I am not sure
if that would change the default directory of ALL log files or just the Sys
log).

Does someone know how to redirect the log files to a different folder or
path?

Geza
