I went through this about 9 months ago.
I set up my new domain as my static IP address - new_domain_name.com
I set up virtual domain as a old domain - old_domain_name.com
Copied Users from static domain to virtual
I used article from the www.ipswitch.com KB

I am using Imail database not an external database.
If IP Switch Tech Support can add anything to clarify, please do.....

Just define another domain name at "Host Aliases" for your domain and "Set
Reply To" for all your users to the new maildomain name.
Then, you need to have your new maildomain's MX records pointed to your
mailserver and to instruct all users to use the new reply address.
They do not want todhunter.com showing up in the email address at all. That
entire domain is going away. What I really want to do is, somehow export my
user base from one domain and import to another.
If I do what you suggested, won't their address still show up as
todhunter.com, when they send mail?
Also, how would that affect webmail?
