I am confused about this thread. Are you trying to send to a Verizon account or send out through a Verizon dial-up account?
If you are trying to send out through the Dial-up, you have to set the outbound SMTP server to Verizon's. If Verizon is setup like most larger ISP's. They may require that all outbound SMTP traffic gets routed through their servers. That way they can hunt down abusers quickly and in theory shut them down. One last thing. I'm sure it was a typo, but you do mean Verizon not Versizon?
