Okay, just double-checking, as other technologies have come along since I last contirbuted that KB article. > This is the logs. But I do not know yet where to find the SMTP log > in exchange. Look under the 'Default SMTP Virtual Server' and find the 'Logs' section. They may be currently off. Turn them on and you'll get a text file in the referred directory. > Please see attached (sending SMTP from command lines) That's not enough info. You need to provide the server's internal response to the connection from IMail -- in the logs. It would, however, be helpful to see the same Telnet connection made to the Exchange box. Remember, you're setting up a connection between two servers. You don't know which server is exhibiting the primary problem. --Sandy ------------------------------------ Sanford Whiteman, Chief Technologist Broadleaf Systems, a division of Cypress Integrated Systems, Inc. e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] SpamAssassin plugs into Declude! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/SPAMC32/download/release/ Defuse Dictionary Attacks: Turn Exchange or IMail mailboxes into IMail Aliases! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/exchange2aliases/download/release/ http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/ldap2aliases/download/release/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
