You  need  to  Telnet  from  the  IMail server to the Exchange server;
that's  the  connection  we're  trying  to transcribe. It goes without
saying  that the connection to IMail results in successful delivery to
IMail; that's irrelevant.

And  you  need  to use the square brackets around the IP, not just the
IP.
