I'm still dealing with this open connection problem. I've listed the offending IP in the control list but it seems they can still maintain open connections?
open connection is TCP level, not SMTP level. Imail works at SMTP level. They TCP connect, IMail rejects their SMTP, but the TCP connections hangs open.
Block at TCP level with a packet filter.
