Well, not in IMail. IMail doesn't BOUNCE a blacklisted host's
messages prior to receiving the body of the message. That lends to
say that IMail probably does not check the RBL list upon SMTP
connection either. I could be wrong on this point. Therefore, one is
only left with placing blacklists in the 'DNS Blacklists (insert
X-Headers)' box and leaving IMail to insert an X header. Then bounce
the message based on a rule. If IMail could bounce a message from a
blacklisted host upon SMTP connection, you wouldn't have to waste
the extra bandwidth of accepting the entire message into the server.
The other two MTA's I'm currently using bounce blacklisted messages
back to the 'MAIL FROM' upon SMTP connection.
