nix is not my strong suit for sure.. ha i've managed to install fbsd 4.6 on
an old sager laptop without any problems. Actually all the hardware was
picked up 1st time through.. and I do appoligize for asking what must seem
basic questions.

Ok.. makes sense .. what I'm trying do is setup a dedicated IMGate box with
the least amount of install possible. Does the whole 4.7x package need
installed or just the binaries? Any other support progs, grep, etc?
