Greetings, Anyone had experience with choiceone dsl not letting smtp auth work properly. We can telnet into the smtp server (imail) just fine but the smtp authorization just yields an "unauthorized user" in the logs. I have read about the cisco pix fixup protocol and smtp proxies on firewalls breaking smtp auth. I will not be able to find out what routers/firewalls they are using until tomorrow. Any workarounds besides allowing smtp relay for addresses or questions I need to ask choiceone? Thanks. Sorry for the OT.
