The outgoing LWG chairman Mike Collinson has stated at State of the
Map EU in Karlsruhe earlier this year that such an exception is in
principle possible. I think that'd be interesting to pursue.
i think we definitely need to hear more about this possibility. it has
the potential to change
the nature of our conversations with public entities with whom we're
talking about geodata.
