Hi,
let me say this very bluntly: The community consultation process of an
import cannot be resolved by the would-be importer "intimately taking a
stand" on something or "begging to differ". If you cannot find broad
support in the community for proceeding with the import, and you proceed
anyway, then your import will be promptly removed from OSM.
