what's your actual server? When I looked up the mx record I got this

Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.1.1

Non-authoritative answer:
paec.org MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = server37.appriver.com
paec.org MX preference = 20, mail exchanger = server38.appriver.com

Neither of these match up to the ip address in the received headers from
your posts to this list.

If ns1.paec.org is your smtprcv machine, then you probably have a
corrupt executable. When I telnetted to it, it gave me the following
welcome message which is nothing like the smtprcv one.

220 ***************2*************************************0**0 *****

you should get
220 servername SMTPRCV SMTP Receiver Version xxxx Ready

The words "SMTP Receiver Version" and "Ready" are hard coded into the
executable (which is why I think something is corrupt).

I sent it a mail from tag and it gave me a response. then it appeared
to lock up.

klint.
