Any idea what version of SMTPRcv you run? I am running 0.48, but I have a
.051beta version in my archived files for IMS stuff. wondering if this is up
to being run in production. As I saw a reference to a version 0.5.1 on the
zaxalon IMS support page.

Yes, I am still running it, with no problems. Maybe it's because the
server where it runs is Win2k.
If, for you, it ran with no problems for a long time until recently,
I'd be willing to bet that it is a recent change in your host
computer, maybe your OS.
It could even be (heavens forbid) a virus, a dying or corrupted hard
disk.
I guess my point is, I have used it for so long with no hangs, that I
suspect I don't suspect MMS of causing the problem.
"Break a leg" with getting it taken care of.
