Dear All, Hope you are all doing well. One of my friend owns an iMac 27" Core 2 Duo model, last night I was trying to update his Mac OS X 10.6.2 to 10.6.3. After the OS update machine prompted to restart. When restarted, its turning ON with only the apple logo stays constant on the screen. The machine repeatedly boots. I restored the iMac with Mac OS restore DVD, it took around 40 minutes to complete, problem remained same. Last option left for me to do is format the iMac. So I request all of you to suggest me a way out of this situation. I need desperate help.
