Dear all,
2 of the people replying to my posts and I have experienced the
disappearance of messages or replies to messages.
I lack experience and am not yet familiar with this forum but I think there
could be a little "twicking" to improve the functioning. Normally one sends
an e-mail, an answer comes back on top of the original, one answers back
and so on. The original is there in the string only once at the bottom. The
very last comment is on the top.

Instead on the list of postings it seems that we carry a lot of info
around and really all there is new to read is "thanks" or "by the way I
thought of ..." leading to a new topic altogether.
Would it be more practical to initiate a topic, then exchange e-mails one
to one or one to -say- 5 respondents. Once the discussion is completed we
post the result on the forum. This would be mainly for text. Photos may
introduce extra complications. With this process one would retain control
of what is send / displayed and it would answer Usha di's concern of lost
of control. I presume it would also lighten the load on the server and
would result in a smoother presentation on line. What do you think?
