Actually nothing is in our control as far as technical part of Google
groups (efloraofindia is part of it) is concerned.
We having using it for almost 5 years & are well conversant with its
working now.

As far as getting replies to ones' post is concerned, it is sometimes very
difficult because of voluntary nature of replies. Lot of resurfacing,
thought, hard work etc. is required to get proper responses.

Thank you message are also very important for lot of members to feel some
satisfaction & continue posting, though it can be sent only to the poster.

which threads you are talking.
