There's a substantial difference between the sum of the "select count(*)"
columns and the pointReq value (but the latter is the only that comes
close). The count(*) result comes to 207060003, the pointReq to 393491903.
Is the count(*) simply not a valid count at all for what I want?

The pointReq value also keeps climbing even when I know for certain that
noone is writing to the system now.
