Fred,

you can use the backup subcommand 'dumpinfo -verbose <dumpid-of-crashed-dump>' 
to list all volumes, that have been dumped sucessfully. I would then use some 
awk commands to create a list of volumes that have to be dumped again. For 
safety reasons,  I would also include the last volume listed by dumpinfo, 
because it may be corrupted, too. 

I would suggest that you create the volume set by using the backup command in 
non-interactive way, because the command line will probably not allow enough 
characters. THIS SHOULD BE FIXED BY TRANSARC! (Maybe they can make the command 
line grow dynamically as large as the user types [realloc]).
