Subject: missing jfs on AIX 3.2.5

Hi, please forgive me if someone asked this question before.

After I installed AFS client on my RS/6000 running AIX 3.2.5. I added another
hard drive and created a logival volume and a jfs inside that volume. The hard
drive is configured as a physical volume. The new physical volume and logical
volume are both placed in a new volume group, disjoint from the volume group
AFS is using. The difficulty I have is that whenver my system lost
contact with
a AFS location server, all the files and dir's seemed to be missing.

Does anybody know the cause/cure to the problem.

Thanks in advance.

Regards, Pau-Chen
