Not really. If I find out that Foobar Incorporated has an afs cell, with
a little bit of probing with rxdebug and udebug it's probably relatively
easy to find their cell unless there's a firewall.

You're wrong, sorta.... The afsconf package calls gethostbyname. It will
fall back; it just takes a while.
