I scanned some AFS cells last night and found that many AFS volumes have
very low vnode access count in the past day. For example, many cells have
> 50% volumes that were accessed fewer than 5 times. This could mean client
caching worked well, I presume. However, I was puzzled by a significant number
of volumes that had 1 access in the past day. This "fewer-than-1-access"
volumes accounted for from less than %1 to more than %60 from cell to cell.
Does anyone know what these kind of accesses might be for? In particular,
what would cause this one-access-per-volume-per-day pattern?
